ABOUT US

New Life Christian Fellowship was planted 14th April 1985 and has been a Christian community in Beccles, Suffolk since then, meeting in various locations across the town.

In January 2023, we became Life Church Beccles and purchased the former Laura Ashley shop on Newgate. Now known as The Hive it is a home for our church family and a centre where we can serve our community.

OUR STORY

We believe that God raises up, and the church recognises elders/pastors, who govern and shepherd the church. The team of elders carries responsibility before God for the doctrine, discipline, direction and devotion of the church.

Currently we are in a period of transition and have a temporary Leadership Team who are providing leadership to the church, handling day-to-day operations and oversight of the ministries and teams operating within the church.

    Cheryl serves on the Leadership Team, Pastoral Team and serves on the Café Connect Team.

  • Chris Sanders

    Chris serves on the Leadership Team and is also a Trustee taking responsibility for Health & Safety.

    Emma Sanders

    Emma serves on the Leadership Team, Pastoral Team and leads worship.

  • Jade De-Crescenzo

    Jade serves on the Leadership Team and is a Life Kids Leader.

  • Jane Hazell

    Jane leads the team for our midweek community café - Café Connect.

  • Jeremy Summers

    Jeremy serves on the Leadership Team, leads our Welcome Team and also preaches.

  • Julian Fabian

    Julian serves on our Leadership Team and is one of our Worship Leaders.

  • Liam Smith

    Liam serves on our Leadership Team and heads up our Audio Visual Team.

  • Nigel Mann

    Nigel serves on the Leadership Team, is an Elder and part of our Sunday morning hosting team.

  • Peter Atthill

    Peter works full time for the church and serves on the Leadership Team as team leader.

  • Rachel Fabian

    Rachel serves on our Leadership Team, is Chair of Trustees and part of the Busy Bees tots team.

  • Richard Ward

    Richard serves on the Leadership Team and the Café Connect Team.

  • Rodney Sexton

    Rod serves on the Leadership Team, is an Elder, a Trustee and part of our preaching team.

    Star heads up the Busy Bees team and also serves on the worship team.

  • Sue Atthill

    Sue serves on the Leadership Team and is a Life Kids Leader.

  • Suzanne Summers

    Suzanne serves on the Leadership Team and helps with administration for the church and The Hive.

Life Church Beccles is part of Relational Mission, a family of churches committed to seeing lives and communities transformed by the grace of God all over the world. We seek to do this by recreating New Testament church life for our day; equipping every believer to be a witness to Jesus, training the next generation of leaders, starting new churches and empowering the church to meet the needs of a broken world. We highly value genuine friendships and corporate prayer as essential to fulfilling our shared mission.

Relational Mission works in partnership with Newfrontiers, a group of apostolic leaders partnering together on global mission, joined by common values and beliefs, shared mission and genuine relationships.

Life Church Beccles are also members of the Evangelical Alliance, a group of hundreds of organisations, thousands of churches and tens of thousands of individuals, joined together for the sake of the gospel.
